Perito Moreno – Sterling Silver Minimalistic Necklace

Perito Moreno is a truly unique neck piece! It came to be when a thick blob of sterling silver was gifted to me. It was too thick to melt, so I decided to cut it in transversal slivers. When I saw the saw texture created by the saw blade, I saw the frigid ice wall of the South Gracier Perito Moreno, in the south of my birth country of Argentina. Some people have said this piece looks like a simplified map of the US, or some State in the Union. For me, this peculiar piece in its minimalism, carries the voice of the glaciers, inciting us to cherish and honor life in our planet.  The current length is  16″ but it can be customized to your needs or preference. Perito Moreno  hangs from a dainty yet strong rolo oxidized Sterling Silver chain. The handmade clasp and the Porellarte tag complete the magic charm of this one-of-a-kind piece of artful jewelry.
